Starfrost design, manufacture, install and service industrial freezing and chilling systems for the global food processing industry. The Role



A new opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Labourer to join the Manufacturing team within freezing and chilling equipment manufacturer Starfrost.

The position available is working as part of the Manufacturing team to support and provide maintenance for high quality engineering projects to meet work programme budget and schedule:

Achieve work programme to meet plan budget and quality

Provide general labouring / cleaning support to manufacturing department

Adhere to company quality standards and health and safety procedures

Assist with Goods In/Out process under guidance of Workshop Supervisor

Yard Control using Forklift under guidance of Workshop Supervisor

The Candidate



You will possess a self-motivated, flexible approach and the ability to work and contribute effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications/experience



Proven ability to meet production targets while reducing material waste and rework.

Strong focus on workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Skilled in troubleshooting assembly issues and identifying process improvements.

Supports quality assurance standards and contributes to efficient goods handling.

Effective team player with experience mentoring peers and promoting best engineering practices.
