Workshop Manager - Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced

Workshop Manager

to run a busy manufacturing workshop based in

Coleraine

.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong manufacturing experience who can manage people, production and materials on a daily basis while keeping the workshop running efficiently.

The Role

Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop Manage production schedules and workflow Manage and lead a team of operatives on the shop floor Full responsibility for goods, materials and stock within the workshop and stores Ensure materials are available for production and controlled correctly Plan labour and resources across varying shift patterns Drive efficiency, output and quality standards Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment Deal with day-to-day issues and keep production moving

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm Must be available on call on Saturdays when required (Company Mobile Provided)

Pay & Contract

Paid hourly Overtime paid x1.5 when over 40hours Full-time, permanent position
About You

Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment Previous experience managing people on the shop floor Confident managing stock, materials and goods within a workshop setting Organised, practical and hands-on Comfortable with long shifts and a fast-paced operation Based locally or willing to commute to Coleraine
This role would suit a strong workshop or production supervisor ready to step into full responsibility for a manufacturing operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
