We're on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our busy Caravan & Motorhome Service Centre. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, have a strong technical background, and thrive in a hands-on leadership role, we want to hear from you.
As Workshop Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop, managing a team of technicians and ensuring all servicing, repairs, and installations are completed to the highest standards. This role is a key part of our customer experience, and you'll be expected to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate workshop activities and schedules
Lead and motivate a team of technicians
Ensure high-quality standards on all maintenance, repairs and installations
Maintain health & safety and compliance with industry regulations
Manage stock levels, tools, and workshop resources
Provide technical support and advice to both staff and customers
Liaise with the sales and service teams to coordinate pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a workshop environment
Strong technical knowledge of caravans and motorhomes (or transferable experience from automotive, marine, or similar sectors)
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
A customer-first mindset with great communication skills
Understanding of NCC standards and servicing procedures (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Compensation:
Base salary is 32,000 per year with an OTE of 40,000. There is plenty of scope to grow the service centre and there will be some excellent incentives to do so. Please ask for more details at interview.
