Workshop Operations Manager

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead our workshop operations

- Managing engineering, fabrication and bodywork services

Drive strategic collaboration

- Work directly with our Head of Technical Services whilst delivering key performance insights to senior leadership

Optimise efficiency

- Utilise modern systems (CRM, field service management, stock control) to streamline operations and maximise productivity

Ensure excellence

- Maintain statutory compliance, health & safety standards, and coordinate seamlessly with sales and distribution teams

Develop talent

- Lead and inspire a skilled engineering team whilst building strong cross-departmental relationships

What We're Looking For:

Proven workshop management experience

in engineering/mechanical environments with expertise in general engineering

Operational excellence

- Strong track record in process improvement, asset management, and inventory control

Tech-savvy leader

- Proficient with modern electronic systems (stock management, CRM, field service software) plus excellent analytical and reporting skills

Natural leader

- Outstanding ability to motivate technical teams whilst maintaining collaborative relationships across all departments

Compliance expert

- Comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and relevant qualifications
