About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Workshop Supervisor to join our team and oversee our HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) workshop operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HGV mechanics, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing workshop performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Team Management:
Lead and supervise a team of skilled HGV engineers, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.Workshop Oversight:
Manage daily workshop operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.HGV Mechanical Fault Finding:
Utilize expert knowledge to diagnose complex mechanical issues in HGVs and oversee repair processes.Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.KPI Management:
Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to workshop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Service Excellence:
Ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.Training and Development:
Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance the skills of the engineering team.Inventory Management:
Oversee parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective procurement.Continuous Improvement:
