Workshop Technician - Specialist Coatings & Surface Finishing

PB Powder Coatings Ltd are a well-established coatings company with a reputation for quality, precision, and reliability.
We work across multiple industries - from high-end manufacturing and engineering to automotive and custom projects - specialising in Cerakote Ceramic Coating, Powder coating, blasting, and wheel refurbishment.

We're looking for a long-term member of the team who wants to learn, grow, and build a career with us. This is a hands-on, varied workshop role that offers full training across a wide range of specialist coating processes and equipment.

About the role:
You'll work alongside experienced technicians and be trained step-by-step across our operation, including:

Surface preparation and blasting using state-of-the-art equipment Powder coating and Cerakote application (specialist ceramic coatings) Tyre removal/refitting and wheel preparation CNC diamond-cut lathe operation TIG welding and minor metal repair Masking, cleaning, and handling precision parts for coating General workshop and quality control duties
Every day is different, and we'll make sure you're trained properly on each process.

We're looking for someone who:

Wants a long-term role and takes pride in doing things properly Has a positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn Works well as part of a small, friendly team Is reliable, punctual, and detail-focused Has workshop, mechanical, or coatings experience (preferred)
