Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Workshop/Field Service Engineer, who will be required to join our busy service team based in Gillingham, Kent. The role includes analysis, service & repair of vacuum pumps & compressors.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual, who is passionate about engineering and wishes to join a multinational company. At Becker we pride ourselves in having the most highly trained engineers in the vacuum pump industry.

On completion of your training you will be competent in -

Electrical & mechanical fault finding of our full product range. Diagnosis and repair of pumps & compressors. Preparing detailed written & photographic service repair reports. Servicing & planned maintenance to customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical/electrical engineering preferably within a pump/rotating equipment industry

As an engineer you will be required to work both in house and at customer locations across the southern half of England & Wales as and when required.

Based at Gillingham you will travel to sites when necessary. Mostly based indoors but with some outdoors working, any necessary PPE will be provided.

Salary is fully negotiable dependant on experience - 36,000 basic + Overtime + bonuses (50000 OTE)
