Job Advert: After School Wraparound Care Worker

Location: Harpole Primary School, Northampton

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm (term-time only but opportunity for overtime in holidays if wanted)

Pay: Starting from 12.30 depending on experience)

Contract: Part-time

Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference in their day? Legacy Sport is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Care Worker to join our friendly team, supporting our after school provision for children from Reception to Year 6 within Harpole Primary School.

What you'll do:

Help create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children after school Assist with a variety of activities including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and quiet time Support the preparation of light snacks and refreshments Work closely with a supportive team to ensure every child feels happy and included Ensure the welfare and safety of all children, following safeguarding procedures
What we're looking for:

A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for working with children Experience working with children is desirable, but not essential - training will be provided A team player who is reliable, punctual and friendly
Requirements:

A DBS check is required (this can be arranged if not already held) Willingness to undergo safeguarding training
