Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Team Leader to oversee and support our child care programme. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in education and of Primary school age. This role involves leading an afterschool provision and Team of staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children, and fostering their development through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

Lead , ensuring high standards of care and education. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations, health and safety regulations and MFSE Policies within the child care setting. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all children.

Requirements

Experience working with children, ideally in a childcare or an educational setting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. A compassionate approach towards children's emotional and developmental needs. Relevant qualifications in child care or education would be beneficial.
