The Role

This job involves ensuring the completion and quality of charter yacht preparation for arriving customers as well as being one of the main points of contact for charter guests on the operational side of the business. You will coordinate various members of staff to ensure yachts are turned around between charters in-line with the company's standards. You will also brief customers before their charter and after their return, as well as assist with any queries they may have.

What you will be doing:



In this role you will be the face of our business. You will be interacting with clients regularly, providing a high-level of customer service with excellent communication skills.

During your training period:



You will quickly develop a solid understanding of various yacht systems for the various yachts in Conch Charter fleet and their operation, and related common troubleshooting. Photographing boat systems and preparing boat instructional manuals. Checking that yachts are prepped and ready for charter. Learn to move boats on and off docks safely without incidents.

After completion of your training:



Once you develop a strong understanding of the fleet, you will independently deliver briefs for charter starts and debriefs clients on their experience of the yacht upon their return. Improve your yacht technical knowledge so that you can learn how to diagnose and repair maintenance issues. Take a lead on the creation of yacht briefing videos to help customers understand the systems and equipment on board.

When we don't have charters:



You will assist with turnarounds and maintenance projects as required by the Operations Manager Assist with hurricanising the fleet in off season and taking them to safe storage. Assist with base projects as required by the Operations Manager

About you:



We're looking for someone who is practical, hands-on, and eager to learn. We welcome applications from candidates who have transferable skills which can be applied to yacht maintenance.

Boat maintenance skills and knowledge Ability to sail and move boats A practical problem-solver who takes initiative. Able to stay calm and organised when working under pressure. Comfortable interacting with guests and providing friendly, helpful service. Well organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
