Job Description
This is a Fantastic Opportunity for an Experienced Groom to work for a well established Retirement Livery Centre - WEEKEND HOURS preferred but will consider one day worked in the week and the other working day to be a Saturday.
This job role is working on a busy Retirement Livery reporting to the Yard Manager.
Day to day duties include general care of horses, mucking out, feeding, grooming, administering medications and medical care, dealing with farrier, vet and clients in a polite and professional manner and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate person who preferably should have experience of working within the equine industry. You should be happy to work within a structured environment, prepared to work efficiently with safety of both horse and handler at the forefront of your mind, be able to work as part of a Team but be able to use your own initiative and work alone when required. Must be organised and be able to manage your own time, be conscious of your working environment and standards with attention to detail, must be confident handling a wide range of horses, not be scared of hard work in adverse weather conditions and most importantly you MUST be passionate about horses.
IMPORTANT
MUST have experience of working with horses
Considered applicants must live within a 45 minute commute to the Yard.

be considered. Previous applicants need not apply. We are looking for a weekend worker preferably working both weekend days. One working day must be a Saturday.Salary: According to age and experience - 13.50 per hour
