Yard Keeper / Materials Driver

to join our team.

This is a vital role in supporting our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will help keep our yard area clean and organised, collect waste from operatives on-site, and occasionally assist with sourcing and delivering materials. You may also be asked to support with light site tasks such as litter picking when required.

Summary

We are currently seeking a Yard Driver to join our team at MaintainUK LTD. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and maintenance services. Based in the southeast, you will be responsible for transporting materials and supporting warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard area Collect waste and materials from operatives across job sites Source and deliver materials to support reactive maintenance jobs Carry out basic manual work such as litter picking when needed Liaise with the office and operatives to ensure materials and waste needs are met efficiently

Requirements

Must be based in Essex

Full clean UK driving licence is essential

You must have your own vehicle to start

after a successful trial period Physically fit and capable of manual work Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated Experience in a similar role or in a maintenance/construction environment is an advantage Basic knowledge of materials and tools used in property maintenance is a plus

What We Offer

100-120 per day
