Job Description
Yard man (loading shovel, FLT, Class 1 HGV)
Varied role to support site operations and fleet maintenance.
Ideal role for someone who enjoys operating machinery, practical and has an interest/background in mechanics.
Role
Load vehicles with FLT, JCB and 21ton Hyundai front end loading shovel.
Class 1 driving - Local deliveries and low loader recoveries
Collect and deliver units and trailer
Take vehicles through there MOT (on site authorised testing facility)
Carry out roller brake tests.
Wash vehicles
General site upkeep
Support Mechanics
Typical working hours - Monday - Fri (07:30 - 05:30). Saturdays are available.
Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Ability to commute/relocate:
Penrith: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Loading shovel or telehandler: 1 year (preferred)
Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
HGV class1 (CE) driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Category CE Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
