Job Description
We have a position for a yard operative. The role involves assisting the depot in it's day to day running which involves -
booking in and organizing stock,
loading and unloading vehicles,
cleaning and inspecting equipment associated with the hire industry,
understanding good housekeeping standards,
picking equipment ready for hire.
The ideal candidate would be someone who very much a hands on. A forklift truck license would be beneficial but can be trained. If you're interested or require any additional information, please contact us.
Summary
As a Yard Operative, you will be essential in maintaining and organizing equipment and materials within the yard. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, your role involves utilizing core skills such as mechanical knowledge, equipment repair, and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. While relevant skills like forklift operation and heavy lifting will support daily tasks. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 24,000.00-29,000.00 per year
