J-Safe Ltd is a trusted supplier of temporary edge protection and access systems to the construction industry. We pride ourselves on safety, reliability, and top-tier service. We are now looking for a proactive and hard-working Yard Operative to join our friendly team.

As a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our depot. You'll be responsible for maintaining, preparing, and loading/unloading equipment, ensuring that all stock is safe, clean, and ready for hire.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing equipment for delivery and checking off returns Carrying out inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to equipment Unloading and loading vehicles using forklifts and manual handling Keeping the yard clean, safe, and well-organised Reporting damaged or missing stock Working as part of a team to meet daily targets Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Previous yard or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physically fit and capable of manual handling Forklift licence (desirable, but training can be provided)
