Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Operator to join our team. The purpose of this role is to control site waste, the collection and logging of data and keeping site audit ready at all times.

Duties

To ensure Norbev yard is kept and maintained in a clean and tidy manner, including waste management and external site amenities To be fully conversant with regards waste management requirements as per Environmental Management System and ensure all relevant documentation is maintained To complete required Environmental monitoring such as Legionella monitoring and Asbestos Monitoring as per risk assessments To complete permitted activities in line with IPPC permits and report any deviances promptly and accurately Complete as required utility readings in relation to environmental aspects such as water, electricity and gas, and record as required To complete routine yard maintenance tasks and ensure areas are free from debris / waste to reduce risks of pest infestation To support with waste removal from site with service providers and ensure documentation is maintained To manage waste processes on site (environmental processing, such as material baling / product crushing) and ensure any deviations to operational controls are reported in a timely manner to appropriate management Communicate effectively with management to co-ordinate collections and deliveries of waste collection containers Support with amenity area hygiene standards during periods of absence Complete additional key tasks as required or deemed business critical

Essential Criteria:

Valid forklift license 1 years experience in a similar role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
