We're looking for a

Yard Supervisor

to support our Management Team and lead the yard team to success. You'll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly, ensuring products are delivered on time, safely, and with the highest standards of service.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - from supervising stock and vehicles to motivating your team and supporting sales, you'll be right at the heart of branch operations.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Manager to achieve sales and margin targets Overseeing stock control and making sure our core range is always available Checking all stock deliveries accurately and maintaining high yard security standards Ensuring all vehicle and forklift checks are carried out and recorded correctly Maximising the efficient use of delivery vehicles and ensuring dispatch procedures are followed Delivering consistently high levels of customer service Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard in line with H&S standards Leading and motivating the yard team to deliver great results every day

What we're looking for:

Proven supervisory experience, ideally within a similar industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team Good knowledge of stock control and transport processes Forklift experience and an understanding of transport legislation (desirable) A resilient, customer-focused attitude and the drive to achieve results

Pay: 24,420.00-38,000.00 per year
