Overview

Join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for testing and inspecting Hire equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards before rental. With strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, you'll provide excellent customer service and assist with general yard duties as required.

Responsibilities

Pressure wash and clean all machines ready for safety tests. Make sure all machines are refuelled ready for rehire. Perform thorough testing and inspection of equipment, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards, and make ready for rehire. Do any basic maintenance. Ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards. Some small local deliveries. General yard duties as required to include assisting with the loading and unloading of machinery.

What you will need.

Full uk driving licence Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred; candidates holding a valid forklift licence will be prioritised Must have some mechanical knowledge. Construction, agricultural and/or mechanical experience would be desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and yard layout Familiarization with computers.

Hours of work.

Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm

Salary starting from 13.00 to 14.00 per hour dependant on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
