About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and confident
Year 3 Teacher
to join the school from September 2025. This is a full-time position ideally suited to a professional who is ready to take ownership of a well-established Year 3 class.
The successful
Year 3 Teacher
will be expected to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and contribute positively to the wider school community. You'll be supported by a stable SLT and experienced teaching team who prioritise staff wellbeing and purposeful teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lessons to Year 3 pupils in line with the national curriculum
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL pupils
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess and moderate across the year group
Uphold the school's values and contribute to its inclusive culture
Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain)
