Job summary
Ladders2Life is an established supported accommodation service for young people 16+ in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience to join us on our journey and contribute to our growth and development as the manager for 3 shared homes. We are committed and passionate about providing a comfortable, welcoming home where young people can be nurtured and supported to develop key life skills and create fun memories for their transition to independence. Support plans, risk management, progress and review meetings are young person led, putting them at the heart of their service and developing autonomy. We empower young people to thrive, to find coping mechanisms, to reduce risks and incidents, and celebrate achievements.
Role
Please see the attached full job description and key competencies. In line with the new Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality standards 2023 you will oversee the day to day running of the service, managing and supporting staff, checking plans are tailored and unique to each young person, ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young people, work in partnership with external agencies and promote a culture of continuous learning, with positivity and a sense of humour. You will be supported in your role by the Registered Service Manager.
