We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about working with children and have a strong desire to make a positive impact in their lives. The Associate will be responsible for educating and mentoring youth, particularly those with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary for their personal development.
Responsibilities
Provide educational support and mentoring to children, fostering a positive learning environment.
Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs of each child, including those with special educational requirements.
Collaborate with educators and parents to create individualised plans that promote the academic and social growth of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and encouragement to enhance their learning experience.
Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and respected.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in youth work and special education methodologies.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children, particularly in educational or mentoring roles, is highly desirable.
A background in special education or related fields is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for youth work and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with students.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Relevant qualifications in education or child development would be beneficial but are not essential.
