Role Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed
Football Coaches
to deliver high-quality training sessions and lead match-day teams. This role is ideal for coaches who are looking to
train and manage their own team
while gaining valuable experience as part of a
highly experienced and supportive coaching team

Working Hours
Training Sessions:
Mondays:
5:30pm - 8:30pm
Wednesdays:
5:00pm - 7:00pm
Fridays:
5:00pm - 7:00pm
Match Days:
Saturdays and/or Sundays (flexible - coaches may work one or both days)
You will be contracted for a
minimum of 10 hours per week
, with the opportunity for additional hours based on your availability and the club's needs.
Pay
15 to 20/hour (depending on experience)
Paid monthly
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions
Coach and manage your own team on match days
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all players
Track player progress and development
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club officials
Uphold Stretton JFC's values and child welfare policies
Person Specification
Essential:
FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football (or working towards)
FA Safeguarding Children & Emergency Aid certificates (or willing to obtain)
Enthusiastic, reliable, and a good communicator
Passionate about grassroots football
Available for stated training and match hours
Desirable:
FA Level 2 / UEFA C Licence or higher
Previous coaching experience
Valid enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
What We Offer
