Are you passionate about seeing young people thrive? Do you have the leadership skills to shape a vibrant youth work centre and the heart to serve your community? We're looking for a committed, skilled, and faith-driven Youth Work Centre Manager to lead our programmes, staff team, and partnerships in Alton.
About the Role
You'll be part of our overall leadership team, helping shape the direction, culture, and impact of our youth work. You'll oversee the day-to-day running of a busy youth work centre, ensuring high-quality delivery across after school clubs, mentoring, support groups, and targeted programmes. You'll lead staff and volunteers, manage safeguarding as the DSL, build strong relationships with schools, churches, and community partners, and drive local fundraising and impact.
This is a 23.5 hour per week role, but we're committed to finding the right person. For the ideal candidate, we're open to exploring additional hours, either immediately or as the role develops.
We're Looking For
A practising Christian who can model, explain and contribute to our Christian ethos
An experienced youth work practitioner who will deliver some of the local youth work and be able to cover all programmes including faith programmes
A strong leader confident in safeguarding, project oversight, and partnership building
A great communicator who can inspire young people, staff, volunteers, and local funders
A resilient, organised, and compassionate leader who wants to make a real difference. If this sounds like you - or you're not sure but feel a spark of interest - we'd love to hear from you. Get an information pack and have a chat if you would like to.
