Responsibilities:

Deliver an exciting and varied programme of activities, including sports, creative arts, personal development, and youth voice initiatives. Work directly with young people (ages 6-21) in group settings and one-to-one sessions to support their social skills, confidence, and aspirations. Encourage young people to participate in group work, make new connections, and gain new experiences. Ensure young people are involved in designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes to create a youth-led approach. Maintain accurate records of participation, safeguarding concerns, and any incidents. Promote positive behaviour and discipline to maintain a safe and inclusive environment. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, always adhering to FireFit's policies and procedures. Actively promote the FireFit Hub, encouraging membership, attendance, and engagement.

Skills & Experience:

Level 3 Youth Work or relevant experience First Aid at Work qualification (or be willing to work towards) Experience of supporting young people Experience of challenging behaviour of young people and knowledge of conflict management Experience of undertaking safeguarding in a setting which includes young people

Interview Process:

Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of competency-based questions.
