The Role

a general video editing job.
This role is for someone whose dream job is working on a YouTube channel - learning what makes videos click, retain attention, and genuinely change people's lives.
Lifelong Mobility is looking for a full-time
YouTube Video Editor & Channel Builder
to own and elevate all video output across YouTube, our membership, and short-form platforms.
You'll work closely with founder Will Harlow to turn weekly filming sessions into a consistent, high-performing content engine.
You won't just be cutting clips.
You'll be
shaping how millions of people experience our brand

What You'll Do
1. Own long-form YouTube editing
Edit
3-4 YouTube videos per week
Prioritise clarity, calm pacing, and retention for our audience
Add clean motion graphics, callouts, titles, and B-roll where it genuinely helps
Collaborate on thumbnails and titles to maximise CTR and watch time
2. Create member content
Edit
1 polished member-only training video per week
Ensure everything is simple, clear, and easy to follow for non-technical users
3. Lead short-form creation
Produce
20-30 Shorts/Reels/TikToks per week
from long-form and raw footage
Nail the first 2-3 seconds with strong hooks
Deliver platform-ready assets (correct framing, captions, sizing) for publishing
Keep projects, files, and naming conventions organised
Track basic performance (retention, watch time, views) and suggest what to double down on

You're not interested in YouTube strategy, performance, or audience behaviour
Must-Haves
Strong portfolio showing
long-form YouTube edits
andshort-form vertical clips
Excellent command of
Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
Basic motion graphics skills (titles, lower-thirds, simple animations)
Experience editing talking-head, educational content
Strong organisation and file management habits
Understanding of what drives engagement and retention on YouTube
Ability to work full-time from our
Farnham (GU9) office
(with some flexibility after an initial period)
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in health, fitness, or education content
Experience editing for an older audience
Basic familiarity with YouTube analytics
What We Offer
Salary:
38,000-45,000
