working 1:1 with a pupil who uses a wheelchair

The Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil who uses a wheelchair, including personal care when required.
Assist with learning activities, behaviour support, and social development.
Help deliver personalised education and therapy plans.
Encourage independence, communication, and life skills.
Prepare and organise resources to support engaging lessons.
Contribute to planning, reviews, and wider team discussions.
What We're Looking For
A degree (Psychology, Maths, Science, or related subjects are especially welcome).
GCSEs in English & Maths (grade 4-9 or equivalent).
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.
Patience, resilience, and a positive, flexible attitude.
Willingness to assist with personal care when required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships.
