Due to expansion, Tutor-Ed is seeking freelance tutors to deliver maths/ science up to GCSE level. You will have the ability to plan, deliver and assess learning on a personalised level.

A teaching qualification is NOT required.

GCSE Qualifications in maths/science are essential, but a qualification in teaching, while preferred, is NOT necessary.

The right candidate will be expected to:

Engage face-to-face with young people aged 11-16 positively. Educate students in mathematics amd science adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and needs. Communicate effectively with students to provide feedback on progress and areas for improvement. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation. Assist students with exam preparation, and study skills to enhance their academic performance. Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

An inclusive and resilient approach GCSE in maths and science Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other educators when required.
