The opportunity
The purpose of the IT infrastructure team is to provide structure, control, and monitoring of the functions responsible for diverse technical operations which generally involve hardware, software, and networking in both physical and virtual environments. The main goal is to minimise downtime, maintain business productivity and optimise business processes with technology.
Day to day duties
Receive incoming demand from IT helpdesk for complex issues, resolve via a combination of core own skills and liaison with infrastructure team Monitor and maintain the overall IT infrastructure Provide 3rd line support to IT BAU team Escalate more complex issues to senior infrastructure team
What are we looking for?
Working knowledge and understanding of a range of networking and connectivity to maintain a secure and performant network Understand and operate relevant security practices, change management processes Understands maintenance processes and applies them in working practices
