We are a small and friendly accountancy practice in Grimsby, looking for a
reliable, organised, and enthusiastic Office Administrator
to support the day-to-day running of our office. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in high standards, and is eager to grow with us.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing client onboarding and maintaining accurate client records
Help oversee compliance, policies and procedures
Handling general office admin: scanning, post, data entry, filing, letter writing
Supporting the Practice Accountant with scheduling, paperwork, and client communication
Assisting with light bookkeeping duties (training provided)
Helping improve systems and supporting with occasional social media or marketing tasks
What We're Looking For:
Strong administrative experience and
excellent organisational skills
Friendly, professional, and confident when dealing with clients
Comfortable working independently in the office (lone working at times)
High standards, attention to detail, and trustworthy
Eager to learn new systems, with
interest in developing skills
(bookkeeping or practice systems)
Able to manage own time and happy with lone-working - self motivation is a must
Bonus: experience in an accountancy or professional services setting
Preferred: Administrative or Business Qualification
