The role
Spark's senior accountant controllers are powerhouses. A crucial part of the team, they have responsibility for service delivery and assisting the management with business growth - in every way.
With at least six years' experience working within a practice environment, they are dab hands with, compliance work, corporate and personal tax as well as delivery of regular financial information that make a real difference to our clients. Team players and pros who never stop at 'good' when it comes to wowing clients with incredible service and surprising them with new solutions.

They are smart, proactive, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic individuals who are self-motivated and drive for great results for the business and its clients.
Our accountants are also creative thinkers and problem solvers, working on solutions to client problems, delivering incredible results across the business.
They need to be keen to take a role in identifying and securing new business and growing revenue and are keen to develop a commercial approach within their work.
Our senior account controllers teach and empower members of the team, offering direction in client-related areas as well as preparing accounts, tax calculations, forecasts and monthly reporting and more. Willing to learn they are problem solvers and confident to have a go at new assignments such as budgeting, forecasting and workflow management.

Negotiables
Six years plus in accounting practice
Commercial acumen - the ability to deliver value across the board for the practice.
Qualified by experience or studying ACCA or ACA and want to complete your chosen qualification.
