The Role

We're looking for a meticulous and proactive

Part-Time Accountant

to take charge of our day-to-day financial operations. This is a key role supporting the Managing Director and helping steer the financial direction of the business. You'll oversee everything from invoicing and budgeting to management accounts and cash flow, making sure we run smoothly and sustainably.

What You'll Do

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations Monitor cash flow and support credit control processes Reconcile bank transactions, credit card and Stripe payments Prepare VAT returns and liaise with external accountants Present financial reports and insights to the Managing Director and Board Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

What You'll Need

Degree in Accounting and Finance (required) Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) Comfortable working independently and remotely (if applicable) Commitment to quality, accuracy and compliance with financial procedures
