We are a fast-growing online ICAEW accountancy firm which focuses on ecommerce businesses. Those businesses which sell on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Shopify etc...

We are the leading ecommerce accountancy practice that provide a complete service to SME ecommerce business owners from bookkeeping to tax returns.

We are a remote first business and always will be, so this will suit someone who has a good work from home environment.

Not only are we an accountancy firm but we have a team of in house developers who develop ecommerce accountancy tools to constantly improve how service to clients and internal efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our friendly team. This role will be delivering Bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts, tax returns and self assessments.

Role Description:

General bookkeeping duties and VAT preparation

VAT Returns review

Bring accounts up to TB level ready for accounts preparation

Liasing with clients and the team

Assist with training trainees

Accounts Productions (limited company and Sole Trader)

Tax Return (Corporation tax and self assessment)

Continually developing internal processes

Engage with clients

Required Skills:

VAT returns preparation experience

At least 2 years of experience working in a UK accounting practice

Experience with accounts to TB level

Experience with management accounts

Experience using both Quickbooks and Xero

Studying or complete a finance qualification (e.g. AAT)

Good knowledge of Microsoft office incl. Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills is essential

The Accountant will be managing service delivery and relationships for a portfolio of SME businesses for a fast-growing ecommerce focused accountancy.

What we offer:

Base Salary (25,000 to 30,000)

New business referral bonus

Remote working (we will provide equipment)
