Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Duties

Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with applicable standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Conduct financial accounting tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient record-keeping. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide strategic planning. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through regular audits. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business operations.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is essential. Strong understanding of financial services and principles of financial management. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate reporting. Experience with accounts payable processes and financial accounting practices is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
