to manage the Accounts Department and assist with all areas in the smooth and efficient running of the Accounts function for Etchinghill Golf, by providing complete customer, visitor, staff and management satisfaction at all times
To manage the Accounts Team.
To prepare management accounts from day book data provided by accounts staff
To prepare statutory accounts in conjunction with Accountants for Etchinghill Golf, Pedham Place Golf Centre Ltd and other business within the group and pass annual accounts for other parts of the business, to the relevant accountant
To maintain all control accounts to ensure the safe keeping of the companies' assets and cash levels.
To operate the companies' accounting systems to provide appropriate, accurate and timely data for the directors and statutory bodies.
To identify cost savings and manage control of costs.
To present management accounting reports
To attend meetings and provide timely, accurate reports as requested
To delegate specific responsibilities to individuals, monitor progress and provide timely feedback.
To respect and safeguard all assets belonging to the company, staff and customers.
To manage and maintain the security of the accounts function, including keys and safes.
To hold the company's interests at heart, at no time undermine the efforts of management or fellow colleagues and not divulge private company/customer information.
To manage and conduct appraisals in line with company procedures
To follow all disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with company procedures.
