About Moulton Main Garage Ltd

We are a growing independent vehicle garage based in Northampton. The team are committed to delivering high quality service with a personal touch. Our finance team plays a vital role in supporting day to day operations and helping to ensure the financial health of the company as we continue to grow.

We are looking for a motivated and detail focused Accountant to join our business. This role would suit someone with a background in financial or management accounting who wants to be part of a supportive and forward thinking team.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare accurate monthly, weekly and daily management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports Perform reconciliations including bank accounts, supplier ledgers and VAT returns Support quarterly and year end accounting processes Complete budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Liaise with external accountants and HMRC where needed Ensure all financial records are organised and up to date

What We Are Looking For

Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, AAT) or equivalent practical experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and time management skills
