Lancashire Waste Recycling are recruiting for an Accounts Admin Assistant who is conscientious and enthusiastic to join our small Finance team. For the correct candidate there will be training or apprenticeship opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
Accurate processing of purchase and sales invoices
Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts
Inputting supplier invoices and generating customer invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of management accounts and month end procedures
Chasing customers for payments
Support the Finance Manager
General administration duties
Essential Skills & Experience required:
Previous experience in a similar finance accounting role
Excellent administrative skills.
Be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
IT literate including MS office applications - Excel.
Ability to work independently but also as part of a small team
Sage 50 Accounts experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
Desirable skills & Experience:
AAT qualified or equivalent
Sage 50 Accounts experience
