OHMS Renewables is an established Renewables and Electrical contractor based in Cambuslang. We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts/Admin Assistant with a good understanding and experience in Accounts and Administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing daily support to the Operations Team.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
Experience of purchase orders and invoicing
Excellent IT skills
Able to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills both clear and confident
Must be a team player
Previous experience/working knowledge of the construction and energy sectors
Experience of computer-based accounting packages, such as Xero or similar
Experience of working within an admin and account's role
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Processing purchase invoices
Verify the accuracy of invoices, matching them with purchase orders
Summarising relevant information on spreadsheets for additional analysis
Regularly monitor the Accounts mailbox and respond to queries in a prompt and professional manner
Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and filing, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Handle incoming customer service calls
Assisting with any other ad hoc office duties daily
