SKILLS REQUIRED

This role would suit either an experienced Motor Trade Accountant, a strong Accountant who is ambitious, capable and looking to take the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate will have Motor Trade experience and the following skills:

Experience of reconciliations reports of spend and trends An excellent team player Good interpersonal and communication skills Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines Profit and loss input Vat preparation Pay roll Working knowledge of DMS

The Dealership Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the accounts department, producing accurate management accounts to group time-scales and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed in line with group procedures.

The Ideal Dealership Accountant will be able to work under your own initiative whilst also supporting other members of the business. You will have experience in financial reporting and be able to demonstrate your ability to understand complex detail and present it in a simple and effective way.

Experience of the motor industry is a necessary requirement for the role: the successful applicant will be a current you will be first-hand stake in helping drive the business forward.

The hours worked are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm however you will need to be flexible working additional hours subject to business demand. Some weekend work maybe necessary
