Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Accounts Admin to join our clients dynamic finance team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial administration, proficiency in SAGE accounting software, and excellent data input skills. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Data Input and Management:
+ Accurately input financial data into SAGE accounting software
+ Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all information is current and precise
+ Reconcile discrepancies in financial data and resolve any inconsistencies
+ Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity Financial Administration:
+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
+ Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner
+ Monitor and follow up on overdue payments
+ Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
+ Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
+ Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents, both digital and physical General Accounting Support:
+ Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
+ Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
+ Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve queries
+ Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and procedures Communication and Reporting:
+ Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal team members regarding financial matters
+ Prepare regular financial reports for management review
+ Communicate effectively with the finance team and other departments
+ Respond to inquiries related to accounts and financial transactions Compliance and Best Practices:
+ Ensure adherence to accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies
+ Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards
+ Implement best practices in financial administration and data management
+ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Qualifications and Requirements

2-3 years of work experience in accounts administration or a similar role
Proficiency in SAGE accounting software
Strong knowledge of financial administration processes and best practices
Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
