We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable functions and legislation. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of agriculture, be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
This role is based in our Cirencester office and key responsibilities include:
Financial, banking and cashflow management including bank reconciliation
Use of Farmplan and Xero, alongside a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
Full administrative support for farm clients, including monthly, quarterly and year end reporting
Raising sales invoices
Preparation of contract farming accounts as necessary
Payment of PAYE/NI and proving accurate recording for HMRC
Liaising with clients and accountants as necessary
