Orbex is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the Finance department. You will be well organised and comfortable working in a busy accounts payable function.

We are looking for someone with proven experience working in an accounts team, ideally with experience working in multiple currencies and long term ambitions for growth and development with the company. Any experience working with engineering/manufacturing companies would be desirable.

Having developed in-house production capability, we can 3D print complex engines, produce full-scale carbon composite fuel tanks, and have avionics and software testing labs in both Scotland and Denmark.

Based in Forres, you will be right in the heart of this fast-paced cutting-edge company, gaining a unique insight into what it takes to build a new launch vehicle for a buoyant commercial market.

The Position

As an Accounts Administrator your duties will include:

Co-ordinating with Treasury & Accounts Payable Supervisor to ensure all duties are completed efficiently and in line with month end deadlines. Acting as point of contact for all supplier queries along with managing the Finance email inbox daily. Processing invoices in various currencies Matching purchase invoices to POs Recording staff expenses Taking responsibility for the debtors & creditors ledgers, and ensuring accuracy of postings. Checking supplier statements Posting all payments and reconciling several bank accounts in various currencies monthly. Pleo / credit card postings

We are looking for candidates who have good attention to detail and are used to working in a fast paced and busy environment. You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills and will enjoy working as a team. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills will be required for this role, as will a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.



Preference will be given to applicants who have some book-keeping qualifications and some previous accounts payable experience. Full training on using our ERP system and our processes will be provided.

Location - Forres

Our roles need to be on-site in Scotland due to the nature of the position, export controls and security. This role is based in Forres at Orbex's headquarters.

Orbex Forres is located at the foot of the Scottish Highlands, near Inverness. It's close to the spectacular coastline, wild beaches, and amazing wildlife of the Moray Firth, as well as being a short distance from the world-famous Loch Ness, and Aviemore ski resort.

Security

You must be a UK or European citizen or from a country that is a signatory to the MTCR convention. You may be required to undergo a UK BPSS check which includes a criminal record check.
