Job Description

AAT Safety are a growing business operating in the wind energy sector, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. You'll be handling day-to-day accounts and admin tasks, from keeping on top of invoices and billing, to payroll and the purchase ledger. The successful candidate must have experience using Xero

Key Responsibilities



Process and maintain the purchase ledger, including matching and coding invoices

Prepare and submit client invoices in a timely and accurate manner

Manage and prepare the monthly payroll process, including cross referencing timesheets

Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end procedures

Maintain accurate financial records in

Xero accounting software



Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth operation

Requirements



Proven experience in an Accounts Administrator or similar finance role

Proficient in Xero accounting software (essential)

Solid understanding of purchase ledger, payroll, and billing/invoicing

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
