We're a small, but fast growing business based in Poole, and we're looking for an Accounts Administrator, reporting to the Finance Manager, to support the day-to-day accounting tasks within the business. Green IP is a hosted telephony company providing solutions primarily to clients in the automotive and hospitality sectors. You'll work closely with our operations and management teams, handling payments, customer statements, credit control, reconciliations, and general accounts administration. This is a full-time role; however, we are open to considering part-time applications, provided the hours are spread across five days per week.

Main Duties:
Maintain and reconcile purchase and sales ledger records
Oversee and manage all aspects of payment processing and transactions
Monitor and manage credit control processes to ensure timely debt collection
Prepare and issue accurate customer statements in a timely manner
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Respond to and resolve account-related queries via email and telephone
General and financial administrative tasks to support the finance team
Assist with the planning, monitoring, and execution of budgets
Prepare and support the production of financial statements and management reports
Qualifications and experience required for this role:
Some experience in a finance, accounts, or administrative role (entry-level or similar)
Proficiency in Xero accounting software (essential)
Confident user of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (e.g. formulas, data sorting/filtering)
Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Genuine interest in numbers, finance, and financial processes
Professional and courteous telephone manner with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships within a team
Resilient, organised, and capable of managing time and priorities effectively
High level of discretion when handling sensitive financial information
Willingness to learn and follow established financial processes with accuracy and consistency
Open to candidates who are currently studying towards a recognised finance or accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
