Hallam Express Ltd is looking for a proactive and reliable

Accounts Administrator

to join our team at BHI House. This is a varied role that plays a key part in the smooth financial operation of the business and offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role:



As an Accounts Administrator, you will provide essential financial and administrative support, assisting with the preparation of management accounts to trial balance, maintaining project cost records, and covering front-of-house reception duties when required.

You will also play an active role in liaising with customers and suppliers, resolving queries, processing payments, and contributing to budgeting and reconciliation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in producing monthly management accounts up to trial balance Support project costing and maintain accurate cost records Provide reception cover during busy periods. Ensure timely collection of customer payments and debt management Resolve invoice queries quickly and effectively Conduct credit checks for new customers Maintain and update purchase ledger records Handle supplier queries professionally and efficiently Maintain both manual and computerised records accurately Complete cash book entries and bank reconciliations for group companies Process Direct Debit collections for Hallam Express Ltd Assist the Financial Director with general accounts duties and budget preparations Represent Hallam Express Ltd professionally at all times Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties as required

What We're Looking For:



Experience in a similar accounts or finance role Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, suppliers, and internal teams A proactive and professional approach to work
