Accounts Assistant

We're looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at

Short Stay St Andrews

. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers a varied mix of bookkeeping support, payroll assistance, and income management across our student rentals, refurbishment and property portfolio.

Day to day, you'll support with reconciliations, invoicing, student payment runs, payment tracking, and payroll preparation, helping us maintain smooth financial operations. You'll also contribute to month-end reporting and work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts or finance, great attention to detail, and confidence with accounting software (Xero, Sage, or similar). Strong Excel skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team are essential.

Terms and Location

We are happy to consider a part time application as well as full time. Rate based on experience and available skills. You will be based in our St Andrews office for at least one of the days.
