We're looking for an Accounts Administrator to complement our high performing front and back-office teams, whilst enabling us to continue to scale our rapidly growing book of business.
Initially, you will work closely with Senior Management to ensure you are provided with the appropriate level of support to understand your responsibilities and track your progress.
As the role evolves, you will be given greater autonomy, developing a professional structure based around adherence to standard daily tasks, including;
Arranging, submitting and processing customer payments through direct debit/BACS
Following up on returned direct debits and communicate customer arrears to relevant teams
Inputting payments and receipts on to the finance agreement management system
Arrears Management / Co-ordination
Preparation and submission of monthly reports to the British Business Bank
Co-ordinating customer termination documentation and reporting requirements
Posting sales and supplier invoices on to relevant systems
Maintaining aged debtor reports
Providing administrative cover and cross-support for back-office teams
Who we need
Previous experience in a finance-based role with use of relevant systems (e.g. SAGE, Quickbooks)
Excellent verbal and written communicator
Highly organised with the ability to multi-task
Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail
Confident and charismatic
Willing and able to engage in all aspects of business
A self-starter with a can-do attitude
Able to work independently and collaboratively, prioritising workload to meet deadlines
Someone who will remain positive, calm and professional under pressure
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Eligible to work in the UK
