Based in Wolverhampton, we distribute international brands such as Fruit of the Loom, Gildan, Regatta etc whilst also manufacturing our own brands offshore. The Role



This is a very exciting role for an innovative and experienced individual, to grow with us at a time of expansion. Reporting to the friendly Senior Sales team, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, articulate and customer focused. The Internal Account Manager will strive to provide excellent service, to meet & exceed our customers' requirements as well as achieving sales growth.

Duties include:

Credit Control:

Making calls and Sending emails to customers ensuring payments are received and correctly allocated.

Purchase Ledger:

Accept stock, process purchase invoices, accurately coding up and resolving any invoice approval issues.

Sales Ledger:

Process returns, issue credit notes and clear general customer enquiries.

Purchase Reconciliation:

Assist the purchasing department to ensure data is accurate to later reconcile for accounting purposes.

Expense Management:

Monitor and process employee expense claims and ensure they comply with company policy.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger entries and resolve discrepancies. Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within purchase and sales ledgers Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements. Maintain existing spreadsheets to assist with financial planning. Deal with supplier queries via phone or email. You will be expected to take other incoming calls and forward any non-accounts payable calls to the necessary department. Ad hoc Duties supporting the whole account's function and work as a cohesive Accounts Team. General administrative duties to maintain the database.

Ideal Candidates:



Proven experience in accounts administration or bookkeeping. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations is a plus. Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field are preferred. You will need to have good time management skills and able to prioritise your workload. The ability to use own initiative. Self-motivated and passionate. Enthusiastic and an effective team member. Excellent investigative and problem solving skills.

Hours

- Full time, 40 hours Monday to Friday

Salary

- Basic 25K up to 28,200 OTE (Basic + Bonus incentives after probation period)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-28,200.00 per year
