We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts and Administration Assistant to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for an individual looking to grow with our company, with opportunities for increased hours and career progression in the future.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the Accounts and Administration Team and report to the Finance Manager. The role involves ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial and administrative tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear communication across the team and with clients.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (part-time hours, specific hours to be discussed during the interview)
Location: Chislehurst, Kent
Key Responsibilities
Handle reception duties, including answering calls and assisting visitors.
Manage general purchase and sales ledger tasks.
Oversee credit control and debtor management.
Assist with PAYE and related payroll tasks.
Input and reconcile cash book entries.
Manage company credit cards, including reconciliation.
Process reconciliation and journals to the nominal ledger.
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, banking, and other office duties as required.
Essential Skills and Requirements
AAT Accounting Qualification (or equivalent).
Proficiency in financial software such as Templa CMS, Access, Sage Accounts 50, or similar platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
