Location: Batley

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-2:30pm (37.5 hrs/week)

Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

Training: AAT Level 2 or 3 Bookkeeping ? progressing to AAT Levels 3 & 4

About the Role

As our Accounts Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function while developing your skills through hands-on experience and formal qualifications. You'll begin with the AAT Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping, then continue onto full AAT Levels 3 and 4, all while gaining real-world knowledge in a supportive and professional environment

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliations Process purchase and sales invoices Support month-end reporting activities Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Work alongside qualified professionals and contribute to team projects
Training & Development

This apprenticeship combines work-based learning with accredited AAT qualifications, giving you the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in accounting. Your development will be supported every step of the way through mentoring and access to a range of learning resources

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in finance and accounting Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good numeracy and communication skills 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent) Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
