Accounts Apprentice
Job Description
Hopwells Limited is one of the largest independent wholesalers in the UK. We pride ourselves on being a family owned, and family run business and we are seeking to attract an Accounts Assistant Apprentice at our Head office.
This apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a busy finance team and obtain an AAT qualification with the support of an experienced and friendly Finance team.
The role allows one day per week for you to study with our learning provider to work towards the recognised Accounting Qualification. Successful completion of your apprenticeship will enable you to progress within the finance team.
Responsibilities
Liaising with depots
Matching and processing of invoices.
Reconciliation of Statement
Contacting supplies by phone and e-mail with invoice queries.
Ad hoc duties as requested to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Skills
Problem solving skills
Good communication both written and verbal
Ability to work on independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 6.40 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
